Virginia has received a lot of interest from clients regarding the setting up of workshops to demonstrate and teach some of the more intricate modern cake decorating techniques. She was very pleased to be invited to demonstrate wedding cake designs suitable for Asian Wedding Cakes at the Trafford based Pulling Together Young Asian Women's Group.

Don't miss the chance for your child to have their very own design on a cake. This amazing competition starts on Sunday 7th October and runs until Friday 30th of November. All your child needs to do is to draw and colour their own original design on plain paper to fit a 16cm diameter circle or a 16cm x 16cm square.
There are three age ranges for entries,
The entries will be judged by Virginia, and the winners will notified within a week of the competition closing and receive the cake of their design.

Pulling Together is a forward thinking Young Asian Women's Group in Trafford. They have been doing a Wedding Project and I was delighted when they invited me to lead a workshop on Asian wedding cake designs. Each lady decorated 3 different mini wedding cakes and as you can see from the picture they had lots of lovely ideas.
