
Chocolate wedding cakes are one of my specialities. They can be covered in luxurious chocolate ganache or white, milk or dark chocolate curls. Choose your style of decoration from a unique selection of hand crafted Belgian chocolates, sweets, fresh fruit, silk or fresh flowers. You are more than welcome to enquire with your own ideas too! Each design can be displayed in a larger picture by moving the mouse over the desired smaller thumb nail view. The Price does not include the cake ornament if displayed with one.
As a guide; the following number of portions can be cut from a sponge cake depending upon the shape of your chosen cake. Cake shapes are round; square; heart; hexagon; petal; oval; star and 3 petal.
12" 50 to 60,
10" 20 to 30,
8" 10 to 20,
6" 8 to 10
So, a 2 tier 8" and 10" would yield around 30 - 50 portions,
a 3 tier 8", 10" and 12" would yield around 80 to 110 portions,
and a 4 tier 6", 8", 10" and 12" would yield around 88 to 120 portions.

This cake serves approximately 200 portions and comprises of 2 x 12" tiers of chocolate sponge cake stacked together; topped with 2 x 10" tiers of chocolate sponge also stacked together; a 'double ring' separator filled with rose heads; then 2 x 8" tiers of chocolate sponge.
The finish is Belgian white chocolate ganache; a range of feathers and roses can be chosen to suit your colour scheme and theme.

Quite a treat, this cake takes around 40 hours to make and decorate and I only use home made chocolate or vanilla sponge too!
